St. Andrew's Church Cemetery, Madras, India.

In Madras our Research Team visited St Andrews Church. They found the burial record of William Bidie in the register of burials but there was no mention of the grave. The Team visited the graveyard and despite an extensive search they were unable to find the actual grave. It is possible that it is there, but there are a number of unmarked graves and many more damaged gravestones. A lot of the graveyard is becoming buried under refuse and rubbish thrown from the flyover above. (see issue 39 of The Indiaman Magazine).
